Taylee's first gymnastics meet. Surprise!
The leprachaun(s) was not fooled. He somehow managed to escape, but not without completing some mischief in the classroom like turning the water green and writing on the board with green marker and taking out some green books to read on the carpet.
Taylee had two more teeth taken out just before Easter. These were the largest yet. She was pretty sick afterwards. Hopefully those will be the last teeth pulled for a while. We'll see.....
This is my funky rash. I was having some medical issues for about 4 months like vomiting every Thursday (Throw-up Thursday), painfully itchy rashes, joint pain....my blood was tested and I had a biopsy. Most likely it was just stress??
Taylee's new bed!
We gave volleyball a try this year. Jury's still out on whether or not she will do it next Spring. Maybe Stan and I will coach?
Girls' Nights-- First a rock star theme and then the following month a crafts themes
Easter time (Bella loves Easter)
Taylee's first play. She is a bunny in the Cutesy Curly Fan Club for Missoula Children's Theater's The Tortoise and the Hare.
Celebrating after the show.
This year the three of us walked/jogged/ran the Lilac Bloomsday. Seven and a half miles of fun!
This year Taylee experimented with electricity for the STEM Expo. Her goal was to light a lightbulb using different types of food. She learned about circuits, electrons, electrolytes, volts, amps.....it was a lot, but she did it (even though her hyperactivity may have driven Grandpa Jim (our resident electrical expert) a tad crazzzzzyyyy).
Her display (without the fruit and electrical wire and voltmeter)
Explaining her project to one of the judges
Posing with her friend, Jenny
Checking out a dissected frog
And finally.....
Receiving her TROPHY at all-school assembly. I know the picture quality is poor but look at her face and body language. She is SO excited and proud. The trophy was a big deal. Both judges gave Taylee a perfect score on 7 different criteria for her project.
Taylee and Avery performing their comedy routine for the school talent show.
Our goal this year was to make it to 38 city parks. Between Stan's back surgery and my sprained foot, that will have to be next year's goal.
We did a ton of swimming at the city pool this year.
My sprained foot after a week and a half of recovery. Almost there!
